Autodromo launches new Vallelunga Chronograph

I'm pleased to announce that Autodromo has launched a new Chronograph based on the best-selling Vallelunga watch. It's available right now, priced at $550 over at Autodromo.

The design of the watch is a blend of 1960's chronograph motifs integrated with a dial inspired by racing tachometers of the early 1970s. All of this is framed within a clean, minimalist stainless steel case for a totally refined look that goes with any outfit.

The beautiful new campaign was shot on location in Central France by Amaury Laparra, of the Asphalt Heritage Club!

For anyone planing a trip to Japan in the near future, I highly recommend you pay a visit to our friends at Motorimoda! It's a very unique shop for discerning car and motorcycle enthusiasts with a sense of style. They have 3 locations: One in Tokyo's Ginza shopping district, one in Nagoya, and one in Kobe. The Kobe store, which just opened, is shown below.  I first learned of Motorimoda when I saw their ad in a Japanese Rally magazine. I've long been a fan of vintage watches and --as this website attests-- a connoisseur of classic cars, so about 2 years I decided it was time to combine those passions, using my professional skills as a designer and branding consultant. The result is the birth of a new driving-oriented brand : Autodromo.

Our launch collection consists of 3 models, inspired by tachometers found in Italian sports cars of the late 60s.  We did our best to bring you the finest quality materials and swiss movements at an attainable pricepoint of $425.
